About

Gina Marie Agderian

Most kids her age would beg their parents to take them to the toy store – New Jersey born-and-bred author, Gina Marie Agderian, would ask her parents to take her to the library and bookstore instead. She learned to read at just three years old by memorizing the books her mother would read to her every night.

Gina began to write short stories when she was in elementary school and would spend her recesses writing in a notebook. She began keeping a journal when she was nine years old and continues to journal to this day.  She went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in English and an MBA in Management.

Gina had always wanted to write novels but never knew where to start. After years of dreaming of becoming a published author, she decided to take matters into her own hands and began to pen her first novel. The Letters in the Old House was published in April 2018 and was inspired by Gina’s many trips to the Jersey Shore. Her second novel The Faceless Woman, which also takes place at the Jersey Shore, was published in November 2025 and was inspired by complicated familial relationships, mental health, and breaking one’s own barriers to become who they’re meant to be

Gina is currently working on her third novel. When she is not writing, she enjoys reading, going for long walks, and spending time at her home in the lake region of northeast Pennsylvania. She lives in northern New Jersey with her husband Adam.
